From open table to paid bill in three taps.
Counter runs food and drink service: tables, orders, the kitchen and the bill. It works on its own for a bar or restaurant with no rooms, and alongside Lodge in a hotel, where a bill can go straight to the guest’s room.
Counter at the pool bar: tables with open bills, a table waiting for its bill, kitchen tickets with timers and one running late, and table 6’s bill ready to charge to room 204.
Organised by the job in front of you
Take the order
- Tables grouped by section for each outlet: restaurant, bar, lounge, pool.
- Menu items with options such as protein or ice, quantities and a note on each item.
- Open a tab on a table or run a bar tab. Spirits can be tracked by the tot.
Run the kitchen
- Orders go to the kitchen screen and the bar, with a status on every item. Late tickets are flagged.
- Tickets print on standard thermal printers. If a print fails, the till says so. A ticket that silently never prints is worse than no printer.
- Kitchen staff see tickets only: no prices and nothing else.
Settle the bill
- The bill shows subtotal, discount, tax and total.
- Staff can discount up to their own limit. Beyond it needs a manager’s PIN.
- Split a bill by person or by item.
- Settle to cash, POS or transfer, or in a hotel, to the guest’s room.
- Removing an item after it went to the kitchen needs a manager’s PIN and a reason.
Close the day
- Each person opens a shift with a float. At close, Counter shows the cash expected, the cash counted is entered, and the difference is recorded and locked.
- A shift left open for more than twelve hours is flagged.

Questions
Can we use Counter without Lodge?
Yes. Counter is a complete product for bars, restaurants and lounges with no rooms. It is not a hotel system with parts switched off.
Does it work when the internet goes down?
Yes. Everything keeps working offline and the screen shows how many actions are waiting. When the connection comes back they are sent in order, and nothing is lost or recorded twice. It is tested with eight hours offline and a hundred waiting actions.
Do I need to buy special hardware?
No. Innix runs in the browser on an Android phone or tablet (Android 9 or newer), a Windows computer, or an iPhone or iPad, and can be installed like an app. It is tested on entry-level Android phones, not only on laptops.
What counts as an outlet?
Any place that takes orders and settles bills on its own: a restaurant, a bar, a pool bar, a lounge. A hotel with a restaurant and a bar has two outlets.
Does Counter track stock?
Not yet. Spirits can be tracked by the tot on bar tabs today. Full stock control, with recipes and food cost, is planned.
